Here are some of the animals we saw in Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon. I don't know how the hiking in front of us saw the big horn sheep! The squirrels were obviously fed by humans as they would come right up to people and basically hold out two paws. The California condor sighting was great! We also saw turkeys, deer, elk(?), and lots of lizards. No rattlesnakes though!
Just got back from our trip to the Grand Canyon. It is really impressive! This is the Colorado River overlooking the Navajo Bridge. The bridge is very close to the "official" start of the Grand Canyon.
This is a night picture of the Tower Bridge in London. I took this when we were visiting my friend John a few summers ago.
I think squirrels are cute. Jen thinks they look like rats with fuzzy tails. What do you think?
I slacked on posting this weekend, so here is a two-fer. I took this picture right after we bought our new camera.
Sometimes you are just in the right place at the right time. This is the Air Force Memorial near the Pentagon. I just happened to have my camera as we were driving to dinner. The plane and sun aligned nicely with where the car was when I pressed the button!
My nephew shows off his lego Star Wars clone while we were at the new Nationals ballpark.
This is our other four legged family member. You won't see as many pics of her because she is camera shy.
